The healing powers of animals

The meaning of pet is to touch or caress.

Pets comfort one, they listen to one.  They don't judge one.  Animals ability to help people goes much further than just emotional support. Dogs can detect cancer and seizure.  Animals also help people cope with depression and physical illness or injury.

Heal From Emotional Trauma

Animals also help people that have gone through emotional trauma, by giving these people unconditional love and encouraging them again to hop and gain confidence.

Helping People Deal With Physical Illness or Injury

Animals also can miraculously improve the quality of life for people who are disabled or recovering from a physical illness or injury. Many organizations train animals to perform a wide variety of helpful tasks for people with special physical needs.

Several medical reports have credited animals with other positive effects on people’s lives such as:
  • Lowering blood pressure and stress for every day people 
  • Helping people cope with the loss of a loved one and other major life changes
  •  Better communication in marriages
  • Service animals like seeing-eye dogs help people disabilities live normal lives

There are lots of animals that play a role in the healing process.  Dogs, cats, rabbits, ilamas, dolphins and horse.  They help boos people's attitudes and encourage people to life.  Animals become import family members for people living alone and those whol have spouses and children.  Homeless people have been know have taken care of strays.
