The Root of all Evil

the love of money is a root of all evil

Money has become the most important thing these days.  People’s values have no equation on how they are judged.  People are judged by how much money they earn. In our materialistic world is not important to be honest, but how one compares with the Jones.

The house, the swimming pool, the car, the clothes, jewelry, the latest electronic gadgets, always competing with the Jones

One needs money for food, clothes, the house, education, raising the kids and the list goes on and on.  Once upon a time people bartered for goods that they needed. I know that my sister still uses this practise as she runs a piggery.  My sister will barter for service, paying the doctor with half a pig, that is just one example on what she does, but these days have long since gone by for most people.

Now days the lack of money, is one of the primary problems in our society.  Many people don’t take home an income that they can live on and then there are many that live beyond their means, as they need to have so much materialistic things that they could well do without.

It’s a pity that people just want more and more, and it’s usually stuff they could not possibly use all the time, like a trailer, that maybe they use once a year to go on holiday with.

Of course, the poor’s pursuit to find a good job and earn money is understandable, because otherwise they’ll probably starve.

Money does not buy real friends, or make a real life, money does not buy happiness. Unfortunately, they don’t realise this until they lose something that really has value for them. They have become fanatics. Of course, when you have money you can afford everything but when you are alone and don’t have anyone to share the happy moments with, money becomes unnecessary.

The Younger Women Dating Older Men Advice Relationship Demotivational ...

Some women marry for money and not because she loves him. It’s not unusual to see a twenty something year old woman with a man who is thirty or forty years older. These women sacrifice the most precious thing in one’s life - love. Some women only want financial security and they think this is the only thing that matters.

Old family traditional values are nearly completely gone.  When a family does things together, the father is the bread winner and the head of the household and the mother is the caretaker, and the children have all got chores to carry out.  Both father and mother work these days, leaving little time for family.

It’s money that controls people and not the other way around. One should not lean on materialistic things, so much they forget about what really should make the world go around and that is LOVE. People should not let money dictate to them who they are.

ABBA LYRICS
"Money Money Money"

I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay
Ain't it sad
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me
That's too bad
In my dreams I have a plan
If I got me a wealthy man
I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball...

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world

A man like that is hard to find but I can't get him off my mind
Ain't it sad
And if he happens to be free I bet he wouldn't fancy me
That's too bad
So I must leave, I'll have to go
To Las Vegas or Monaco
And win a fortune in a game, my life will never be the same...

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world

It's a rich man's world
